There's always a sense of anticipation when a well-bred youngster hits the track for the first time, and this filly didn't disappoint. Working over 800 metres at Cranbourne this morning, the Alabama Express x Forbidden Love filly moved through her gears beautifully, showing a natural turn of foot that had the trackwork riders talking.
Ciaron Maher noted that she's got a lovely action and great balance — two qualities that tend to translate well to race day performance. The team will continue to build her fitness gradually over the coming weeks before making any race day plans.
